Look at the situation from the perspective of another concealed carrier who arrives on the scene after the shot; what they’ll see is someone pointing the gun at someone who is injured and on the ground. The second carrier would be well within his or her rights to shoot the person with the gun to defend the person on the ground. This would be the very definition of awful but lawful.
