One of the concerns we frequently hear from new concealed carriers is that they’re worried others will find out they carry. This is usually due to the fact that they often have to spend time with anti-gun people. Here’s the deal – nobody needs to know you carry and if you do it right, nobody will ever be the wiser.
The goal of a concealed carrier is to…wait for it…conceal that they’re carrying. Who would’ve thought??? Kidding aside, the point of carrying concealed is to have your gun available to you if the ‘fit hits the shan’, so to speak, without broadcasting the fact that you have a gun. We don’t carry to provide a visible deterrant to criminals or strike up conversations about the Second Amendment; we carry to protect ourselves and those around us if a criminal decides to attack.
